Caller-initiated consent
End users initiate contact by calling a participating local business. If the business does not answer and the call is routed to OneMoreHello, the caller is presented with an automated voice prompt:
“Sorry we missed your call. To receive a text from us about your request, press 1. To leave a voicemail, press 2.”
What each choice means
- Pressing 1 is an affirmative action providing consent to receive SMS messages regarding that specific service inquiry.
- Consent is captured through the automated voice interaction using DTMF keypad input.
- Pressing 2 allows the caller to leave a voicemail without consenting to SMS.
- No SMS is sent unless the caller affirmatively presses 1.
Consent records and messaging
OneMoreHello records consent information including the caller's phone number, Twilio Call SID, DTMF keypad opt-in method, source, and consent timestamp.
- Message frequency varies based on the inquiry.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out.
